Bob Lose another Titan
Well here's a grunts view of what happened, more to come from higher ups I guess.
My game time began with an epic mexican stand off, from intel numbers seemed roughly even with NC + TCF having a combined total of more caps (150 - 100). BS fleet at approximately 250, support at approximately 180 (couldn't see numbers, I was in the BS fleet).
After some time we get word that a sneaky ninja has bumped Shrike out of the shields, caps are told to cyno in and the combined support fleet is told to travel via 15w and 900 etc to OBE.
Worst ****ing game time ever. Fleet jumps, I crash, reload, warp, fleet jumps, I crash, ad nauseum.
We eventually get to obe gate in p3e, mass jumpage occurs, sub FC has been calling the same target for the last 20-30 mins. The main FC's conversation is something like "anyone loaded from jump", "nope", "no", etc.
Finally after multiple relogs I get in system and onto grid, guns seem to work ok, primaries are going down like geriatrics in the "mature" category, (slowly). Eventually my guns freeze up, so I think, "I'll warp off grid to refresh them".
Oh yay, planet 1 is full of hostiles, there ended my day pretty much, though I did survive for a good 20 mins, lol system lag.
All up, I can't say I really enjoyed my first major engagement, it was epic in the sense that the panning shots from Lord of The Rings are epic, kind of boring really.
Can't wait for Infiniband and full 64bit clients though.
