Welcome to DaveSpace

Back in 1998 ish, I sat down and seriously taught myself about Websites. Part of this laborious process was in preparation for a job in Web Development, so I taught myself HTML, ASP and VB Scripts and how it all fitted together in a web environment. I laboured for weeks creating the foundations of the Fluffydave website and when it was done, I sat back and gazed upon what I had wrought, and I saw that it was good.

However that was a long time ago now, and these days when I look at what I wrought, I can’t help but feel embarrassed and not a little ashamed! Oh how times change. And so it was that I have been meaning to do something about it for a long time, but hadn’t quite gotten around to it … until now.

DaveSpace, Fluffydave.com and Hygelac.org/.org,uk have all been merged into this one, WikiMedia based website. Hopefully the fact that I’ve been bitten by the Wiki bug will mean that content on this site will finally be updated more than once per century and I intend to use this site to merge my LiveJournal, Scrapbook and any other external solutions I use, into one coherent mass, or incoherent as it may become :)

Over time I will move a lot of the old content from my previous sites, onto this shiny new site but expect a lot of it to be left in the past.
